Trò chơi giao lưuOur curriculum is closely aligned to state standards, which were built upon the Common Core State Standards. These standards provide a consistent and clear understanding of what students are expected to learn in the core content areas at each grade level.
Celebrating our humanity is also extremely important to us. Curriculum programs in the areas of music, visual arts, physical education and health, help to create well-rounded students and are aligned to state and/or national standards in each field.

The District utilizes a comprehensive system of assessments to monitor student progress. Based on results, instruction can be differentiated to meet the needs of each student, and improvements can be made in instruction across grades and departments.
Dudley-Charlton Regional School District's vision for adult learning is one that is collaborative, continuous, embedded in daily practice and focused on student achievement. The model that we pursue builds on and strengthens the successes already evident in the district. We strive to foster a culture that supports adult learning by providing a framework that affords every educator an opportunity to enrich his/her practice.
While the ultimate goal of professional development is improved student learning, it is important to acknowledge the additional benefits of a comprehensive plan:
improving job satisfaction
improving our ability to recruit and retain new educators
increasing our knowledge of innovative practices
meeting the requirements for re-licensure
The scope of professional development (PD) will not be limited to attending a workshop or participating in a seminar with a visiting expert. PD will consistently be an ongoing process that involves sustainable improvement in student learning. This requires evaluation of student performance and teacher self-assessment, identifying possible courses of action, testing new approaches, assessing results and then beginning the process anew.
